    Sindh Issues New Shop Closing Hours

    A notification issued by the Home Department on Friday directed Sindh businesses to follow the new operating hours.

    According to the notification, the business will now be allowed to operate from dawn but will have to close by 6 p.m. They will be closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

    Recreational Places

    A complete ban has been imposed on political, social, cultural, and communication sports activities. Cinemas and shrines will be completely closed. In parks, walkways and walkways will remain open, requiring all visitors to strictly adhere to coronavirus protection measures, but leisure trips will be closed.

    Dining Places

    People will not be allowed to eat in indoor restaurants this Ramadan. However, they will be allowed to eat in outdoor food shops from Iftar till 11:59 pm.

    Meanwhile, home delivery and takeaway will be allowed till dawn.

    Worship

    The Home Department also emphasized that Taraweeh’s prayers should be performed in a large, outdoor environment.

    Marriages
    There will be a complete ban on both indoor and outdoor weddings.

    Work From Home

    All public and private sector offices are required to strictly adhere to the homework policy for their 50% staff.

    Transport

    Public transport from city to city is prohibited until midnight on Saturday and Sunday (between the nights of April 25 and 26).

    Mask Compulsory

    All citizens going to any public place or private or government offices are required to wear masks.

    561 new Cases, Three Deaths

    In the province, during the last 24 hours, 11,623 tests reported 561 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the number of infections to 271,523. During this period, 3 more patients died, bringing the death toll to 4,544.

    The latest number of daily cases means that Sindh has an average positive ratio of 4.8%.
