Amal Clooney, the accomplished lawyer and human rights advocate, and acclaimed actress Keira Knightley, have both been recognized as two of Britain’s most influential women, earning a place on *The Vogue 25* list.

Amal Clooney, known for her marriage to George Clooney, has made a name for herself as a fierce defender of human rights, particularly for her work representing victims of sexual violence in conflict zones. In an interview with *Vogue*, she discussed a significant obstacle in her pursuit of justice: apathy.

“There will always be injustice, cruelty and abuses of power,” Clooney stated, emphasizing that silence from those who disagree with these injustices makes change incredibly difficult. She further noted that a lack of courage within government and corporate structures hinders systemic improvement. However, she remains steadfast in her belief that justice requires active pursuit, stating, “The arc of history doesn’t bend toward justice: individuals have to pull it that way.”

Keira Knightley’s inclusion on the prestigious list celebrates her remarkable acting career, which spans over three decades. Reflecting on her life and experiences, the actress said, “It’s quite nice to have lived your life and have lived experiences. And be like, ‘Well, I’ve been through that and I’ve come out the other side.'” Knightley, known for her role in *Pride & Prejudice*, concluded with a message of resilience: “Here we are and it’s all a bit chaotic, but you can go on.”
