The singer, 43, included a cover of The Beatles’ classic “Blackbird” on the “Cowboy Carter” record and performed it live.
Following her performance, Beyoncé shared her gratitude on Instagram, thanking the legendary musician for writing such a beautiful song. “Thank you, Sir Paul McCartney, for writing one of the best songs ever made,” she wrote. “Every time I sing it I feel so honoured.”
She also noted the full-circle moment of wearing an outfit designed by Paul McCartney’s daughter, Stella McCartney, for the London show. Beyoncé concluded her post by expressing her appreciation for London, saying, “Thank you, London, for creating unforgettable memories for me and my family. Holla at ‘yawhen I come on tour again!”
