Lily Collins celebrated Charlie McDowell’s first Father’s Day as a dad with a touching tribute on Instagram. The actress, who welcomed baby Tove with her husband earlier this year, posted a series of sweet photos of Charlie with their daughter, along with a heartfelt message.
In her caption, Lily expressed her admiration for Charlie as a father, writing that Tove is incredibly lucky to have him. She highlighted his loving and nurturing nature, noting how he constantly amazes her with his care for Tove and their dog, Redford. She finished by expressing her deep love and appreciation for him.
The “Emily In Paris” star and the director became parents to Tove in January.
In addition to honoring Charlie, Lily also dedicated a post to her own father, musician Phil Collins, sharing an old interview of him from 1999. She expressed her enduring pride in being his daughter and looked forward to the day Tove would recognize her grandfather on screen.
